Get in touch
Have a question, spotted a bug, or want to suggest something? We're a small team and we read every message. Reach out and we'll get back to you.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Email is our only support channel — there is no live chat or phone support. If your question is covered in the User Guide, you'll likely find a faster answer there.
Bug reports
Please tell us what happened, which tool was affected, and what browser and device you were using (e.g. Safari on iPhone 15, or Chrome 124 on Windows 11). Screenshots are helpful if the issue is visual.
Feature ideas
We genuinely welcome suggestions — many of the features in PickerToolbox came from user requests. Describe what you'd like to do and why the current tools don't cover it.

About PickerToolbox
PickerToolbox is a free, browser-based collection of randomisation tools built for teachers, streamers, event organisers, and anyone who needs a fast, fair, and private way to make a random selection. It has no accounts, no data collection, and no subscription fees.
The project is maintained by a small independent team who use the tools ourselves — the classroom wheel, team generator, and giveaway picker were all built because we needed them for our own lessons, streams, and meetings before anyone else asked for them. Most updates start the same way: someone notices a rough edge while actually using a tool, and we fix it. We are committed to keeping all core tools free and to adding new tools when there is genuine user demand for them.
What feedback is most useful to us
Because the site is small and independently run, specific reports go a long way. If a tool behaves unexpectedly, telling us the exact steps you took — what you entered, which button you clicked, and what you expected to happen instead — lets us reproduce and fix the issue much faster than a general "it's broken" message. The same goes for feature requests: a short description of the situation you're trying to solve (a classroom routine, a stream format, a team ritual) helps us design something that actually fits, rather than guessing.
We also welcome corrections — if something on one of the guide or landing pages is inaccurate, outdated, or just unclear, let us know which page and what's wrong, and we'll get it updated.
Before you write to us
The User Guide covers how every tool works, including advanced features that are easy to miss. Common questions — such as how to remove a winner after spinning, how to install the app on a phone, and how to share a wheel configuration — are answered there. Checking the guide first often saves waiting for a reply.
Response times
We respond to all messages within 2 business days, usually faster. We do not operate a support queue during weekends or public holidays, so messages sent on a Friday afternoon may not receive a reply until the following Monday or Tuesday. If your message needs a longer investigation (for example, a bug that only happens on a specific device), we'll send a quick acknowledgement first and follow up with a full answer once we've looked into it.
Accessibility
If you experience an accessibility issue with any part of PickerToolbox, please contact us and describe the problem. We take accessibility seriously and will address reported issues as a priority.
